June 2016 is a busy month for Benson Drive Scotland. We have a full diary of multiple undertakings that include logistical conveyance for Clients, Day Tours and protracted Touring in excess of 7 days. The weather is great - the best of sunshine so far for late May and early June and we are ready to go! Such a pleasure to see Scotland in warm, golden sunshine!
GLENCOE - the dramatic light and weather instantly changes the Picture
Planning and Scheduling of Tours for 2016 is well under way.
FOR THE SPRING PERIOD - We have Booked Tours taking place from the end of March 2016 and into April, extending to the end of May.
For those Planning a visit to Scotland, don't worry - simply email us and find out what we can do for you!
It is amazing how much clearer your options become, with better Value for Money derived, by simply discussing your intentions - with us - a Direct Deliverer of Tours (with no hidden costs - no planning / administration charges added to your Bill) as opposed to an Operator who outsources for our core business of Driving to Destinations.
The difference becomes apparent for cost and value terms, in respect of Itinerary and Route options - detailed discussions that form into a concise Plan - all packaged together, from one source, booked in advance after researching the best options for you and gaining your "Seal of Approval".
After consulting with you, the Client, at every point, let us Book the Sites, Venues (with entertainment and food an essential component to ensuring a Quality Holiday Tour), Localities and Accommodation for you - whatever you eventually choose, it is "Our help - Your Choice".
Roll on the Warm Weather!
With the Winter being very wet and windy - a little scattering of snow recently - there is not much demand for Tours at present, although we have received Plans for Booked Tours in April, May and June 2016. I am looking forward to the Culture of these Tours very much and going into England for Clients is becoming prevalent.
Conveyance to Airports is the order presently - a hint of Spring in the air as February looms!
We are pleased to offer a Tour that encapsulates the Life of Mary, Queen of Scots - a Tour that takes the Visitor to the Places of Significance in her life in Scotland. We provide an Educational Tour that allows the Visitor to see and feel where she walked, why she was there and how her life evolved to finally ending in The Tower of London.
Out and about yesterday on an atmospheric Winters Day, with sunshine breaking through the mist, across the Lake of Menteith - all that was missing was the outstretched arm appearing from the waters surface - brandishing the vertical Sword of Excalibur! ~ The Lady of the Lake!
We completed a 2 Day Tour last week - starting From Glasgow to Stirling Castle, Linlithgow Palace then Rosslyn Chapel and on to Edinburgh, all on Day 1.
Day 2 comprised Edinburgh to South Queensferry, Blackness Castle, Culross - all on the banks of the River Forth and then on to Doune Castle then into the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Loch Lubnaig, Glenogle, Killin for lunch then Ben Lawers, Kenmore, Aberfeldy, The Small Glen, Crieff, Glendevon and then an evening return over the Forth Road Bridge and into Edinburgh. Please enjoy some images of both days and Contact Us via firstname.lastname@example.org to enable this Tour for You and Your Family - beautiful scenes on Autumn Days - in fact for Any Season!
On a Glorious Autumn day, there is beauty all around. This setting is within the grounds of Stirling University - The Best Campus in Europe and what a scene surrounds you when you visit here, which is open to everyone, all the time.
It is good to take time to see the illumination of nature and meet people and learn new things.
I had a very nice Business Lunch today (30th. September 2015) at The Stirling Court Hotel, which is located within the grounds of Stirling University. This Hotel and Conferencing Centre is well established for Local Organizational and Business Meetings and National Events and I learned from my very nice hosts of the dramatic changes in the Building Development of Stirling University Campus.
A tremendous Facility Development is completed, that provides the best in accommodation that fits perfectly for Tourists and Visitors in Summertime (after the Students have left the campus) looking for a base to then see the locality around the “Gateway to Scotland” that is Stirling (with Edinburgh, St. Andrews and the like nearby) and then onwards for Tour Excursions into The Highlands and around Scotland.
The appeal will be the flexibility offered to families and groups.
From what I have discovered, the design implementation provides a family with accommodation (EnSuite facility, Kitchen/ Living Room, Sleeping ergonomics) and provides expansive space for up to 11 people. Self-Catering choice to suit all needs and access.
Set within such a magnificent rural backdrop that was Airthrey Estate and Castle before the University was created in 1969 – the landscape design provides the best campus in Europe for a few thousand daily inhabitants and visitors to the campus. A National Swimming Pool, Sports Track/ Complex/ Gym etc. and Golf Facility that is accredited and fulfills the needs of Athletes and Students of Sport, with complimentary accommodation that served the Athletes from the 2014 Commonwealth Games (and recent World Pipe Championships – so Pipers around the World, see this facility for yourselves!).
This is a venue I am keen to explore and endorse as an accommodation option, to integrate as part of a Package that Tourist Clients can use – incorporating this location as an affordable and quality accommodation hub.
From this Base, take to the road as part of an extended attraction and Tours Package - Short to Medium Tour Distances and Day Return options as well as extended days away and then return to Base.
We will work on this.

We are always looking for ways to be creative - that fresh creative approach that holds no bounds for advertising and business enterprise. So by that score we offer a warm welcome to the people of Trinidad and Tobago!
We have a family member visiting Trinidad and Tobago and she is spreading the word with our Business Leaflets (as well as enjoying her holiday immensely) to invite lovely people from such beautiful Caribbean Islands to study our website.
Having viewed images of Trinidad and Tobago online, I was astonished to see a “Scottish” architectural influence on one building, which resembles a Scottish Baronial home or castle.
So to the people who so warmly welcome visitors to their shores, I am aware of your generous hospitality and we wish to return the gesture and offer you the best of welcomes and a Tour of Scotland to compliment your kindness to us! ………. Stuart Benson
A week long Tour of Skye featured in the first week of September 2015. The drive North West from Glencoe led to more stunning scenery - the Mountain Ranges as we approached the peninsula towards Mallaig is a fantastic vista.
Skye itself is iconic, for it's rugged landscape and coastal views out to the Outer Hebrides.
See for yourself! These images might inspire you to venture there!
